Twentieth to Twenty-second Day #inktober 2015: Friends And Best Friend

•October 22, 2015 • 1 Comment

I decided to draw some friends again. One of them is a girl name Anna, my best friend since our high-school days. She’s probably the very first person on Earth ever to see the real man behind the mask of the freak; she’s that special.

So here they are:

Well, there they are. I hope they like the way I picture them…

Nineteenth Day #inktober 2015: The Flight Of The Wild Geese

•October 19, 2015 • Leave a Comment

Nineteenth day, not much time to spare. So I just made a quick one.

This one is dedicated to to those who have served with me, back in 2006, during the horrifying long weeks after the devastating earthquake. To those who have given up their humanity, so others may remain humans. To those who have given up their lives, so others may live…

The wild geese

You will be remembered. Go well, my friends…

PS: the words are taken from the song The Flight Of The Wild Geese, sung by Joan Armatrading, with slight modification.

Sixteenth to Eighteenth Day #inktober 2015: Random Characters

•October 19, 2015 • 7 Comments

Still keeping my pace, one ink drawing (sometimes more) a day, still using my faithful Lamy Safari fountain pen on my A5-sized Folk!Story sketchbook.

Can’t post them every day, though; been so busy these days.

Twelfth Day #inktober 2015: At A Funeral

•October 12, 2015 • 1 Comment

I hate funerals. Ever since I was a kid, for some unknown reasons, every time I attended a funeral I always got weakened and sometimes a fever followed. And it always gave me a bad mood for more than 24 hours afterward.

However, last Saturday I had no choice but to attend it, because it was the funeral of the mother of an old friend. Gotta pay my last respect to her.

Anyway, I brought my sketchbook as usual, and I had the chance to make rough outlines of some friends who attended the funeral. Today I finished the sketches, and these are some of them:

Cik Gu

Ustadz

Well, considering they kept moving when I made the outlines, I think some little inaccuracies are acceptable. 😉
