EPHEMERA
It’s extremely short-lived. Much shorter than you expected. Much shorter than you wanted it to be.
Some people experience it only once. Some are stubborn enough to go in twice. The really brave ones enter the third time, daring all, risking the final devastation awaiting them.
Is it worth it? Going in for the third time? Don’t ask me. Twice is more than enough for me.
This is phenomenal…I enjoyed it so much, thank you! π
Glad to know you like it. π
Thank you, Edwin…
Anytime, Tati…
I wonder… should “it” be tested at least once, Edwin?
And I wonder… would testing “it” be worth the risk, Tati?
Nothing ventured, nothing gained…
Damn. Yes. I guess – yes.
Doing it is like jumping off the cliff, enjoying the brief euphoria of flying illusion and hit the ground later and break every bone in your body. Sometimes you choose to keep jumping off the cliff over and over again, because you are hoping that this time you’ll finally jump off for the last time.
Thank you for such a beautiful comparison, Edwin! (LOL! To be honest, I wanted to use this parallel in my previous comment) Well… I’ve jumped, yes. Off the cliff. I’m a pretty extreme bird. I stood on the edge and thought… Tati, if you will not do this now, you’ll curse yourself tomorrow. And I jumped from the cliff into the mountain lake… do you know… It was worth it.
I know it was. The two times that I jumped off the cliff, and the brief euphoria of flying illusions, they’re worth being splattered all over the rocky bottom later as well.
Ah!! This is the truth… You said it right, brave one will go for the next heartbreak!!
I loved the video, though π
And to go for a third time, one must be really either totally fearless or absolutely stubborn.
Indeed!! However, if we go according to the video then, that pain too give us happiness or if not then definitely a lesson for life.
And as I said in my previous post, sometimes the pain even fuel your life.
Sometimes. π
Right!!And want to complete your sentence by saying.. If you are willing to learn and want to be happy and spread happiness π
Right!!And want to complete our sentence even further by saying.,. And if you believe in it enough to be willing to face all the consequences and pay the price π
Exactly! π β€
Well… I’m the kind of never give up person and maybe there is a third time lucky thing. But then… It hurts you once, it hurts you twice… do you want to be the fool to be hurt a third time… Yet, if you don’t try, would you miss out on finally be happy? Wouldn’t it be nice if sometimes someone else would take the decision for us and we could just go with it, knowing it would work out for us?
As I said previously, I’m happy as I am now. Besides, the chance is always 50:50 out there and I’m not good a gambler.
And, no, I would never want to let anybody decide for me. Bad or worse, my decision is mine and mine alone.
I agree… Your decision, nobody else to blame or thank for. In the end you know best. Love your posts.
