Second Day Ink Drawing #inktober
When I first learned Kendo, I was told that I was too strong and too hard (that was when I was about twelve or thirteen). I was also suggested to practice drawing using brush, to soften my nature and to liquefy my movement. I have to admit drawing using brush really works to that end. It’s a good therapy, and I’d like to suggest all of you to give it a try.
In regards to my first day of October ink drawing, I found it a bit disappointing. Maybe I’m losing my touch, and maybe that’s why so many of you failed to recognize the supposedly well-known face.
This is when the brush came up. It’s been years since I last touch any brush, so if I drew another person and you failed to recognize it, I would be able to blame the brush and all those idle years.
Anyway, drawing directly without any pencil sketch, using a cheap Reeves nylon-hair brush and an even cheaper Yamura ink, resulted in this:
Remember, if you fail to recognize the model of that picture, it’s the brush and not me. Or maybe it’s just because you don’t know who the model is; another advantage of using a friend as a model.
Now tell me. Can you recognize her?
NOOOO!!! That’s not one of the Dalton brothers!!!
Wekekek. I will not leave comment if that face is yours (again). Hak hak hak
*kalau iya sih kebangeten banget π
But i still can not answer your quetion, Hehehe π
Who knows? That may be my face. π
Oh?

Mbak Lala!

You really think so? It’s my first attempt on brush-drawing, after so many years without touching any brush whatsoever (toothbrush doesn’t count).
serius, aku suka
Hem, sepertinya keahlian yang dimiliki meskipun terpendam pasti tetap bisa digunakan dengan baik kok π
Mbak Lala dong! :p
