How Much Money Is Enough, Timotius?

This is a scanned copy of a news reported in Suara Merdeka, Monday, February 24, 2014. Basically it tells a classic story of how a wealthy businessmen named TIMOTIUS DHARMAWAN HARSONO hired a group of douchebags to take over several properties in Semarang without proper legal authority. The thugs he hired forcefully drove the inhabitants and put fences around the properties. So far there is still no action from the police regarding this matter, although the victims had already reported this case several times.

I’m not so sure how solid Timotius’ legal basis is. However, I do know that executing a disputed property is the domain of law enforcement offices, not some douchebag businessmen or his thugs.

Is this the direction where this country is heading? And, Timotius, how much more money is enough? How much money do you think you can enjoy when you’re six-fee underground?

  1. Pengusaha biadab!
Sepertinya juga memang ada unsur pembiaran dari aparatur pemerintah daerah.

  2. Sy pikir nggak cuma 1 dharmawan darsono. Kebetulan aja ini lagi sial kena liput media.
Tapi sy juga jadi teringat hal lain. Orang-orang pribumi juga kadang entahlah, semacam kalau punya tanah suka jual. Bingung nulisnya. Hehe

  3. Miss you Mr Crow… 🙂

  4. Anyway, that Timotius is a tricky one. He didn’t take the whole block at once, knowing that he would face angry mob of the locals if he did that. He picked them up one by one, so he only had to face the inhabitants of one house at a time, giving the locals no time to unite and rise up.
